Six of them, born today and 2 of them are black & white like Fluffy!
I haven't told my children yet because I'm aware that there can be problems and they may not all feed properly etc. Once we know how well they're doing perhaps they could go and choose 2 if they seem healthy. I'm hoping my brother in law's girlfriend who owns the Mum will let me get them checked over by a vet before final decision (I don't think she'll be doing that, she's not a v responsible owner but unfortunately I don't think she'll let me take the Mum on as she wants to keep her).
I really hope they do well but six seems quite a lot to me - is it normal to have that many in a litter? If all goes well maybe we'll have some new little furballs in about 2 months time!
My friend has already offered to look after our kittens over xmas if we get some as we may have to go away for a few days. She's got a room she can keep them in away from her own cats.
No cat will ever replace our beatuful Fluffy, but it will be lovely to have little kitties around the house again to look after and cuddle and will help the kids come to terms with losing their first cat.
Fluffy wasn't allowed out till 6 months old and was killed at 10 months

This time I will be an even stricter cat mummy and will make sure I keep them in at night every night and keep a very close eye on them. I have learnt the hard way that cats can be too adventurous for their own good and that even living on a quiet cul-de-sac is no guarantee of safety!
