Tinks is on a distinguished road
Re: Dry Cat Food....

I think its a question of choice and what you believe is best for your little ones...mine are doing great on the RC and their coats look fantastic....but thats just mine. I have a friend with 4 moggies and they get whiskas complete and honestly her cats look every bit as healthy as mine and my friend has more change in her pocket! Its a question of whats best for you and there is no right or wrong but thats just my own humble opinion. I only give RC as that is what my breeders have all given.

Re: Dry Cat Food....

I have to say I agree with you Tinks. Before we had our Peds, our moggies were fed on Felix & whiskas, also Go-Cat dried, they were always in fab condition, the oldest lived til she was 20!!!. I use James Wellbeloved and RC on my peds only because of them being a big boned breed and needing that bit extra, I buy Maine Coon mainly for them, but mix in hair & skin, intense hairball and Queen. They are fed on raw & natural meats too though

Re: Dry Cat Food....

Yes it is personal opinion, at the end of the day you do what you feel is right with the information and experience you have. Betula was on on royal canin and felix and she had very loose stool i wouldnt know if she wasnt a house cat she seems fine in herself but even had blood in one stool which i had treated. Her coat is beautiful whatever she is on but she malts less now and has firm stool.

I know people who have lost their cats to conditions caused by bad diet and for some loose change i am not willing to take that risk with my animals, she may live to 20 on felix but then i know she has a delicate tummy and chances are she would have problems. Its like saying you wont die from smoking, not everyone will but the risk is much higher. That is my opinion on the subject

Have to say i knew nothing about cat food before i got Betula, it was only because she had her tummy upset i started looking into food and was horrified.
