Breeders differ, you're quite right. My Birman's breeder didn't mind as long as I used my own judgement to determine what was safest for him. My Maine Coon's breeder, however, would never sell a kitten to a home that allows cats outside or a home that did not have a companion already for the kitten (I only had a dog at this point so that was fine). Depends who you speak to.

Hi Again
I have just posted a few more pics on my profile, Ollie my 15 week old Maine Coon with our new arrival Stan 14 week old Selkirk Rex VAriant. Thought you might like to see the differance in size!!! They look so funny and there is only 4 days between their birthdays!
