I don't know any of the answers to your questions, but I like the fact your cats walk on your keyboard

When I sit in the living room with my laptop on my lap Alfie always wants to sit on my lap on top of the keyboard! Or he casually walks across it to get to the other side of the sofa

Re: kittens and vets!!

Hello, Cuba was 8 weeks old when I got her - she was no longer drinking milk and turned her nose up at it. Basically let them eat as much as they want! This should be in about 4-6 small meals - little and often - a kitten's tummy is no bigger than a walnut at this age.

Your vet trip depends on your vet's protocol for vaccination - most vaccinate at about 10 weeks or so. So you might just be having a check-up tomorrow, a little MOT, and advice on worming, fleas, insurance etc.

[Off topic - I'll be in Yeovil tomorrow (well... Y. Junction), en route to my mum's in Street!]

Re: kittens and vets!!

ahhh the lovely yeovil junction have fun lol they are already insured so i dont need to worry about that one lol

just not sure on this worming fleaing stuff, i think im more worried about it cause there mum passed away when they were less than 2 days old so i had them fostered out with another cat but she kept her cat and kittens out side in a make shift cattery type thing so they have been out side till they were 6 weeks old and not been wormed so just want to be sure they are fit and healthy and im doing the best for them.

they always have meat down as well as biccys and a bowl of lactol and a bowl of water which they never really touch untill one gets pushed in it by the other

i currently have felix wriggling around on my chest trying to get comfy to had a cat nap lol there claws are very sharp

Re: kittens and vets!!

Congrats on the new babies

It depends on the wormer you use as to how often. Panacur is every three weeks from two weeks old to 11 weeks old then monthly. Kitten milbemax is monthly from 9 weeks old.

Same goes for defleaing - depends what you use. Frontline spray should be used monthly from 4 weeks old to 6 months old. The spot on can only be used from 9 weeks.

Vaccinations can start from 9weeks, two injections two to four weeks apart.
