I believe that I've orderer everything Xito will need when he comes home

Now i need to know what to do on the day, we don't have any other pets so i don't have to worry about that...is there anything i need to know? How should i go about it, can hold him when we get home or should i just leave him to explore, how do we bond? Lots of questions there

All advice welcome

Okay the advise I am about to give you is so super important no matter what you do, do not forget this okay? If you do your hair may start on fire, face turn a bright purple, oh it will be horrible.

RELAX!!!! Breathe in breathe out, in the nose out the mouth.

Seriously, all will be fine. Chill out and just enjoy your baby. If you want to hold him do it hun. If you want to let him explore sweety do it. Kitty's are hard to actualy "break" so just calm down. Everything will fall into place. I promise.

LOL that made me chuckle! Good advice though, I got Ollie home i did leave him in his carrier for 5mins but that was just so i could explain to my daughter "now hes here, Its going to be a little different, we have to be careful when were closing doors blah blah blah" Only because shes 4 and slams the doors like an angry teenager. Then we just opened the carrier, and let him do as he wished. He looked around, wandered around..... came and jumped onto my knee and fell asleep. And thats the pic on my avatar. It was one of the best moments ever! As countrymom says... Just enjoy it

Re: getting ready

Bet you can't wait!

When we got both of ours, we just left them in the carrier that we picked them up in, with the door open in a quiet corner in the lounge, and they came out in their own time (and then both disappeared under the reclining sofa ) but they came out and explored in their own time, now they own the place

Just let the kitt settle in at his own pace.. he'll probably adapt in 24 hrs..

I just showed Alfie where his litter box, food, water, bed etc were then he just wanted to be cuddled for the rest of the night. It's quite stressfull for them leaving their Mum and siblings but just spend loads of time with him and give him loads of reassurance.

From your pics on previous post it looks like he's bonded with you already! xx
