Re: scratch posts

I got a nice big one from Zooplus and it's great!

The only thing you need to bear in mind is that cats like to stretch when they scratch so if you have one of them small posts on a base they will soon outgrow it and stop using it.

Find a nice tall sturdy one which lots of things to hold their interest and you can't go wrong.

Re: scratch posts

Hi

I came across this the other day. I know its for kittens but thought it might interest some people and thought might as well put it in this topic Not bad for only £9.99. My kitten loves it although it wobbles a little so I've put it in a corner to make it sturdier.

Buy Brown Scratcher House. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for .

Re: scratch posts

We have this one and another from Argos but we need a new one for the living-room as we have one it the cats cupboard, one in the kitchen so just need one more.

Re: scratch posts

I bought the Luxor one from Zooplus. It's a wide one but we split it & have two medium to large ones out of it.

That's really good value!

I am considering getting it for my living room as it will match the couch!

Re: scratch posts

I have Kalven cat trees, they are brilliant, my cats spend most of their time on them. Kalven Cat Scratcher Pagoda range They are much sturdier than some scratchers, with solid wood posts. Makes them very heavy to move around, so I fixed castors to the bottom, so can also give them a change of scenery from time to time LOL! They have this one from Kalven in the lounge, which is the one they spend most time on. Kalven Cat Scratcher model 27B
