Cat toys, how many and which ones?

Ok ive started this thread because i was taking over someone elses lol....

My little ollie has, one scratch post with a seat on top, and 3 hanging toy branches on it... also a little scrunchy matt with a fountain of toys that springs up, a feather boa with a jingle ball on, some rolly mice, a ball that spins a string around and around, Is that enough, or does he need more with possibility of him being an indoor cat.

What toys do you have, and are there any good places to get your cat toys from??

Alfie loves plastic corks, plastic milk/juice bottle tops, his cat tunnel, cardboard boxes.. anything he can hide behind and jump out on people!

I tend to keep a couple of toys on strings out of his reach and bring them out when I get in from work so he associates them with "play time!" and doesn't get bored of them too quick.... God my kitty is spoilt isn't he! ha ha

The kitten room has two scratch pools and a activity center, cat nip toys, balls, spiders, and the ferm favourite is a cardboard box
Downstairs I have two scratch polls and a box of toys, but they love to play with my pegs and sit in a carrier bag

Hair bands are very dangerous for cats and kittens, yes they love to play with them, they are attracted to elastic bands too!
but they can cause awful damage if swallowed

I know i took them off him because they are her best for school lol it was more of a joke than actually letting him have them And my curtains are waaaaay too expensive to replace to let him take over them too lol, Thankyou for the warning though if i hadnt known you could of saved a kittys life.

Re: Cat toys, how many and which ones?

We spent a fortune on toys when we got the kittens and the only thing they played with was the feather thing on the end of a stick.

They much prefer to steal tissues, pens or anything else lying around. They like folded up crisp packets or screwed up pieces of paper too!

Mostly though they play together on the scratch post!
