I'm just curious as to people's opinions on these, as I've seen a substantial number around but have avoided them, since I've heard from numerous sources that tinsel can be dangerous to cats.

It seems counterproductive to therefore give them such toys, even if the amount of tinsel in them is actually safe, since it's surely reinforces the idea that tinsel in general can be played with?

Anyway, was just wondering what others' experiences are! Xx

I have never had tinsel toys but the way I see it is that I treat my cats like I would my human babies. If it is something that would not be recommended for babies then I wouldn't let animals have it either. If it really looks like something they could possibly choke on then I steer clear.
