i have problems with a bed i have. its a divan and has a wooden leg thing inside. i have no draws on as it was a handmedown for my spare room. sheldon has worn that away, will have to stop him soon otherwise wen my niece sleeps it'll collapse he he

Mine would leave pin and scratch marks on leather but they'd be ok with wood and fabric (strangely). However, I have in the past had to prevent them from getting onto the sofa, by closing the sitting room door, in case (during a call or a particularly competitive bout of top cat rivalry) they choose to mark "their " territory ... once a stain like that is placed, it is very very difficult to remove, whether from fabric or leather.

Thankfully my table legs and chairs are fine. However, despite the scratch post the sofa and arm chair get scratched. I'm not bothered though as it doesn't show that it's being scratched
