Red Point & Tortie Point Siamese picture of a male tortie point siamese, who was not infertile.
Having a patch or a few break through hairs of base colour is very common in red/cream/apricots. It doesn't make them a tortie, just means that those hairs are unaffected by the affects of the orange gene (not a good explanation I know). True male torties are supposed to have 3 chromozones rather than 2, hence the usual infertility.
