Have you tried rescue centres? We got ours from the RSCPA and I think they were £60.00 each which I don't mind paying as it goes to running the place. They had loads of kittens looking for homes when we went to the one in Chesterfield, probably more kittens than older cats!!!

I've drove past birmingham before and you could see all the chimneys smoking from the road

Don't you notice though when you get a built up area you can taste the fumes from the cars ,

I think london is nice in some areas , nice to visit on holidays

Countrys have there good points and bad pionts like every where ,

Like where I live if you can't drive your stuck as we don't get many buses and the night life for the youngsters is rubbish .In towns and cities its on your door step

and maybe some of the people who have more money than sense - LOL

Admire those who say they would rather make a contribution to a pet rescue centre - they do excellent work.

Kind regards

Re: Cat prices,ordinary moggies!!!

most moggies around here go for free or about £20 to cover costs and I think thats quite fair. £100 plus for a moggie is extortionate.

Re: Cat prices,ordinary moggies!!!

Surprising that people would pay those prices when there are so many in rescue centres looking for a good home. I know up here they are stuffed to the gunnels with cats and were delighted when we said we would foster the little pregnant stray!

Re: Cat prices,ordinary moggies!!!

I paid £50 each for my two white moggies and £50 each for my 1/2 siamese boys. All worth every penny.

I don't mind paying up to £50 for a moggie to cover the costs of it;s food when it was growing up. Unless the moggie was sold with vaccinations then of course I would expect to pay more.

I think they need to see that sad Pedigree commercial. It would change their mind about rescue. I wish I could put this link below all non pure breed cats. My title would be:
