Thats excellent news Trish!! So does he stay in his carrier? Do you have to put him in the section where the hand luggage goes or can he go on the floor near your feet?

Do your relatives not mind you bringing him?

Its quite refreshing to think they can go with you tho! LOL

Some countries you can't, but for most Europe it's ok as long as they've got all the vacinations up to date, microshiped and a pet passport

I wouldn't think of taking him to a hotel, i don't think it would be allowed anyway but because we're staying with family i think he would rather be with us.

I assumed it would be stressful for them but only because I didnt know the rules.

It depends who you fly with, some companies wont allow you to take pets full stop, with others they have to go to a special section with luggage but some allow them to go with you, not sure exacly where but i guess it must be by our feet on a carrier

No they don't mind, they've got a cat as well
