5:10-5:30am - Depending on how long 'the game' lasts. Walk all over mum in a subtle attempt to wake her up for cuddle, this doesn't work so i'll pat her face and lick her nose instead
5:45am - Finally! She gives in and I get cuddles
6am - Strange voices start coming from the white box on the side, daddy punches it and they stop. Mummy stumbles out of bed and down the stairs. I make it quite clear that I DON'T want to eat tuna again for breakfast but get given it anyway.
6:30am - Keeping out of the hoomans way, time to check out if the cats next door have been let out yet from the safety of my windowsill. Perhaps a little nap, it's been a long night keeping the hoomans awake after all.
7:30am - The hoomans leave the house (where do they go all day????) I make my best 'i'm bored' faces and they throw some toys at me. I then get the place to myself to sleep all day.
4pm - Mummy comes home, she's busy opening mail/putting the kettle on but I want cuddles and I want them now! then it's out for a bit to stretch the sleep off.
6pm - Dinner time, pate yum!
8pm - Daddy comes home, I hear his car and run inside, time to pretend mummy didn't feed me (most days it works!) then it's out again to socialise.
10pm - Mummy calls me in, I get treats for being good.
11pm - All the lights go off, time to plot new ways to keep the hoomans awake!

Whoops that was a bit long, such a hard life being a cat!
Aw, that's sweet (getting your face patted and nose licked) Better than getting a 'mammogram' (sp) from a one stone cat

Loved reading that!!

Re: Tiggers daily routine

These routines are great, very interesting to find out what they all get up to – I’d love to be a cat! Here’s Tillys'.

6.00am – start meowing at humans’ bedroom door, it’s still closed with no signs of life yet so must start scratching at the carpet in hope that will stir some response (ripping carpet tends to get their attention!)

6.30am – female humans’ alarm will go off, I know she will be coming out the door soon so I start meowing loudly again.

6.35 am – female human emerges slowly from the bedroom, I nuzzle round her legs in the hope of getting a quick fuss; will then proceed to wind my way in and out of her legs as she walks down the stairs, sometimes attempting to attack the ties on her pyjamas which are fun.

6.40am – breakfast!

7am – 8am – follow female human around whilst she gets ready

8am – female human lets me into the bedroom and I jump on to the bed to wake up male human by pawing his chest and rubbing his nose.

8am – 8.25am – sit at bedroom window watching the children walk to school. Meow at flies and birds passing by.

8.30am – try and look cute by rolling around infront of humans as they are trying to get out of the door – sometimes this gets me treats. Climb up tree so that I can position myself on the window to watch the humans drive off.

8.35am – 4.30pm – I’m a mystery! But they humans suspect I sleep a lot, either on the armchair in the study or on my favourite beanbag downstairs.

4.30pm – male human arrives home and gives me lots of fuss. I then follow him up to the study where we both check our emails.

5.00pm – male human feeds me (usually the biggest portion of the day, he’s very generous – female human say’s too generous and I’ll get ‘fat’, whatever that is...)

5.15pm – female human arrives home and plays with me lots, usually she ends up clutching her hand and looking upset with me but I have no idea why – I go and sharpen my claws some more.

5.45pm – I am let outside if the weather is nice. I don’t go very far but I enjoy playing in the plants and chasing insects. If my friend Archie is out then I will follow him over the fence, end up getting stuck somewhere and having female human come and rescue me. She always looks very sad; I don’t understand why she doesn’t enjoy my adventures as much as I do!

7pm – come back inside and fall asleep on the sofa with humans or upstairs on the bed.

9pm – come downstairs and get a bedtime treat. Have a fuss off humans and then go to sleep for the night in my bed.

2am – chase imaginary things in the bathtub (if humans have left the door open for me, it has been closed more often lately…), run up and down the stairs lots; bring my toys upstairs onto the landing for humans’ feet to find in the morning.

6.ooam – start meowing at humans’ bedroom door.
