over the past week Sheldon has a met a cat in the garden. every meeting is diff but the last 2 nites ive noticed Sheldons tail is very large his hairs all stood up and one nite there was actually a little scuffle between them.

prob is im not sure whos startin it. the cat doesnt have a collar but is too beautiful and well fed to be a stray. hes in the garden same time nearly every nite. my question really is in the title. should i let let work things out and if that means by fightin then ok or shud i step in and maybe alternate sheldons out time around this cat.

i dnt wanna compromise sheldons happiness if hes not the problem.

any help would be great

I would say let them see to it, but I know if it was me, I chase the other bugger out now and again.

When I tried letting Ribs out a while back, a bad cat from up the road was being a pain, I had to walk around with the garden broom to defend her while she sniffed the garden, Rusty is a sod, he wont bwe chased away, he couldn't give a monkeys!!
Anyway, I gave up in the end and kept her in until her pen was built.

i have a terrible feeling its all sheldon, altho i cant understand as from birth to 5 months he had company of other cats. this other cat just sits and wen i look out the window he/she looks up at me with a cute little face.
one nite they were sittin with each other, next they were walkin with each other, then was as if they were sick of each other and when sheldon tried to walk away the cat ran after him. which is wat i think sheldon was doin 2nite.

sheldon is neutered and im jst wonderin cud this cat be un neutered/spayed.
would this make things worse?
