Question Fleas

Hi

My two kitties are indoor kitties (the reason being I live on a main road and the cars and bikes seem to think they are on a racetrack and they wouldnt stand a chance!!), but when they have their second jabs (in a couple of weeks), I am planning to take them out in the garden on harnesses. I am planning to use Frontline flea capsules. When should I first put this on them?

Also, when can I give them treat biscuits, is it ok to do that now??

Thanks

Re: Fleas

A few days before you take them outside should be good then the packets usually say 'once a month' or something along those lines.

My cat only goes out on a harness but I still treat her for fleas 'just in case'

I don't see why you can't give them littel treat biscuits

Re: Fleas

Thanks for your replies.

Will go and get some treats today - that will make them happy

Also, will use Frontline a couple of days before I take them out. They are getting used to the harness and lead, so hopefully they'll be ok "on the outside" lol.

yup should be fine my cat took to it quite well. Just stand at the back door and let your kitty come out in their own time good luck!
