spotted on the pets 4 home

On the pets for home in Cornwall there is an ad saying free to good home bengal snow spotted female , Queen 4 yrs old given up breeding is the reason for getting rid , so cat is retired , can only email have done so no reply , and now there is british short haired kittens , only email , same destination when looking on map , could this be a scam , its just when you email you don't seem to get a reply , I would of loved to give the Bengal a loving home and I would of not breeded from her no more I would have done the right thing, Do you think this is for real ,
I just found it real funny to notice both ads are from the exact area .

Re: spotted on the pets 4 home

Well it's possible the breeder is retiring two queens from different breeds. Although we specialise in hybrids we also have a few other breeds that we breed just cos they're so beautiful (we have a black BSH girl). But it's not me!

We have two Bengals looking for homes, but they have to go to a petless household - and because you're on here I guess that's not you?!

Re: spotted on the pets 4 home

i guess i am in similar position. So confused, not sure what to do
about a week ago i saw an add in gumtree (if i remeber right) bengal kittens for adoption, so i replied that i am interested etc and ask a bit more info about kittens. i received reply yesterday saying that kittens are still available and they are free to good homes and they are vet check and excelent pet to children etc. So i email again asking if i could come and see kitten and i got reply just now saying please give me your full adress and i will deliver kittens to you tommorow. I am not sure what to do- something dodgy, why i can not see kittens, why she do not answer to my questions about kittens age, sex etc...
cat is a live creature and i do not want to commit for something i even can not see. is it normal kittens owner behaviuor or is it just me being paranoid

This definatly sounds dodgy, never buy without seeing cattery/home mum/dad what has she got to hide?? steer clear of sellers like these, there are plenty of reputable breeders out there.

This is NOT normal behaviour for a breeder to do, you should always see mum and sibs in their own home before you agree to have one, and if the breeder agrees to you as a suitable mum,

For once i am in agreement with Clare-BCP-either go to a website and check out the links page or maybe try rescue centres-at least this way you will know as much as you can what your bringing home Goodluck-and let us know if you continue your search and how you get on-i'm sure any pet would be lucky to have you as his/her slave

Re: spotted on the pets 4 home

The ad for the bsh is just the same please email with name and number ect and they will contact back,
The bengal just has what it is and email seller , but you don't get a reply and there is no phone number for either

I am not saying about the breeding of two different kinds of cats its the fact you can't seem to get any thing back from them

Thats a shame , and I would of been here if I had no pets

Re: spotted on the pets 4 home

Sounds like a way to collect email addresses.
People will write in and give away their email address.

Email addresses are saleable assets to email harvesters who want to sell email lists to spammers.
