Advice friend wants to re home cats how cats how can i help??

hi guys,
I had a call from my friend this morning, she knows im a cat slave and always comes to me for advice in regards to her 2 moggys, the problem is she is splitting from her partner which is going to mean she has to move in with a friend for a while, she has 2 lovely cats who are brother and sister they are 8mnths old, she is not going to be able to take them with her and she has said she will not be able to support them financially when she gets her own place(personally id feed my cats before myself if i was in this situation) i cant judge every body is different and not everyone is as devoted as most on here, now she's asked me if i will help her to find a new home for them preferably together as they have been since birth, i dont know where to start ive never had to this this as my pets are with me till i go or they do, i want to help i dont want them to be placed in a shelter i went to one once to look for a dog with a friend and visited the cattery god knows why i done it to myself because i cried my eyes out, the last thing i want is for her to take them somewhere like that so i want to find them a new home for her so i know they've gone to a good loving home, they are both up to date with vaccinations and flead and wormed and i pushed her into getting them both done a couple of months ago as i was scared the delay could result in brother and sister mating and god knows what the outcome of that would of been, i cant take them in myself if i could i would but i already have 2 cats of my own one being a pregnant queen who's litter is not far away (homes await these little birmancross's) and a 10mnth old baby to contend with i am just not in a situation to take them on! where do i start what do i do first any one with any experience on this please your advice will be very welcome.
thank you

You could post in the rescue part of this forum, and also on catchat. I took 2 5 month olds in under similar circumstances. I doubt she'd be able to find a shelter for them as they all seem pretty choked full. I know some people are waiting 4 months+ for a place.
