Still using her litter tray
hey not trying to overcrowd the treads or anything,
ive been letting my kitten out for a few weeks now but she still uses her litter tray.. was just wondering will she wean herself off or will she always use it??

Yes i have the same problem, my kitten is out in the garden all day but comes in to use the litter tray. i would also like to know how to get him to go outside

To be honest and I'm going back a few years we just hid it during the day or put it in the garden and then got rid eventually.

Good idea to put it in the garden during the day, careful not to get it wet though, then find a place where you'd like her to do her business and sprinkle some used litter in that area and she should get the idea, if you see her using the area praise her. All my cats go outside now but if I leave the litter tray out they will still use it especially in wet weather!

Ahhh ill have to wait another 6 months then, lol, getting a new kitten on sunday so the litter trays gonna be out for sometime now. But when the other kitten starts going outside ill definatly do the garden thing, sounds like a good idea.
