Re: We have a new surprise arrival!

Well done for getting her! I'd say that must have been a caring breeder even if the kitten is not really a pedigree, she could easily have got £100 for a blue moggy kitten, and the kitten does look at least part BSH.

Re: We have a new surprise arrival!

I strongly suspect she is a moggy blue as the advert said she was the only kitten as a result of an accidental pregnancy from the lady's cat.

Being a lone kitten we have noticed that while she is very interested in Charlie and wants to play, his interactions make her growl and hiss. Not a huge surprise as Charlie spent the first few hours of her being here telling her that that was HIS bed, HIS bowl, HIS litter tray (regardless of whether it was or not) and those two legged on call 24/7 petting pals were HIS.

She's getting a little braver, in the early hours of the morning she tried to get on the bed but couldn't quite manage it. When I tried to lift her up she ran away. Then she came over and licked and played with my fingers while my arm was hanging out of bed.

I am sure once she realises we're not going to eat her she'll settling in fine!

Thomas has come across Lola and his face said it all 'Oh no, they're multiplying!'

Awwww bless, she is soooo sweet. Bet you are over the moon with her and so glad to hear that the breeder vetted you first.
