fingers crossed for Audrey. Thanks for the update too. I totally agree with Izzie 999 - get this appt tomorrow over with and then think about the groomers when you have come to terms with it all.

Oh dear, poor Audrey! I do hope that the medication works and Audrey can get back to normal. Loads of positive and healing vibes on their way to you and Audrey!

I think these things can have a hereditary component - you need to tell the breeder.

I agree it does sound hereditary and you should get in touch with the breeder about it and hopefully she will not continue to breed from the same lines anymore.

If Audrey already had a pre-existing heart condition prior to the groomer visit then it may be difficult for you to prove that it was the cause for her condition now, unless you told her beforehand.

I hope Audrey comes through this latest setback ok.

Poor Audrey and poor you after all you both went through at those groomers.

Sadly, her breeder had a heart attack last year and cannot breed anymore How ironic though.........

When Aud was 14 weeks she went to Caroline for an initial check up and the heart murmer wasnt detected then.....Caroline was quite shocked when she picked this up a few months ago as she didnt seem to have it as a kitten.

Its easy to blame somebody - anybody really, groomer included but I know this must have been an underlying problem...its just hard to take in, especially after losing her brother, and then all the problems with Barney. I feel useless as a pet owner, I really do.
