Im so excited! We've got a 1 year old female cat called Millie at the moment who is absolutely spoilt, and thought it would be nice to get her a little friend - Im a teacher so get lots of holidays, and my partner comes home every lunchtime, so we're lucky that we can spend alot of time with a new little one.
Weve been thinking about it for a while and made some tentative phone calls yesterday, went for a look around at a cats protection shelter, and fell in love with a semi long haired black and white bundle of fluff. We already have a black cat so ideally were looking for another colour, but he was just gorgeous. He was very snuggly and cuddly, and hopefully will be the calm to millie's whirlwind personality!

I know a lady who works at, and where I have helped out volunteering at another local cats protection shelter, so dont need a home check and have managed to go from looking for a kitten to picking him up in a day - cant wait to go and fetch him in an hour!

I know these forums get hundreds of posts about people getting new kittens and cats, but im just so excited i had to share! Will post some pictures when he's settled.

PS Forgot to say - the lady at the cats protection said they had named him Wolverine!! Needless to say my boyfriend LOVES it but i have refused to keep it lol I like Dandy, or Corky.

He's getting on swimmingly with millie - she was apprehensive at first, but they're both now running around chasing each other like a right little tag-team!

Want he's so cute. I love the name too.
