Re: Grooming

he is 15 wks old i never even thought about getting him groomed, he has already had the equivalent of a bath (THANK GOD THE WATER WAS SHALLOW!) i was bathing my youngest, and it was just plain water to, and he jumped on my back then fell in. Gave me such a fright! and thank goodness my youngest is able to sit in the bath now, cause i automaticly grabbed him and took him out. Needless to say the bathroom door is always shut now!

For the nails, i would get that done at the vet. I do not know of any local groomers here.

Re: Grooming

I'll probably never use a groomer.
Although I have a Himmie, I know what it takes to get his coat looking like he goes once a week. :P

Re: Grooming

I have never taken my two to a groomer and never would to be honest! They are both shorthaired and I run a comb through them most days just to get rid of the excess hair. I would never bath them either! lol Cats clean themselves all the time and as my 2 go outside they naturally wear their claws on the tree's etc..

Re: Grooming

Check out this cat grooming advice which might be of help to you. We have short hairs and they tend not to need grooming - once every now and again.
