Re: What made you choose?

With this particular cat i chose him because id always wanted a grey/blue cat. So although ive had other coloured cats in the past it was nice to finally get one this colour.

Re: What made you choose?

When I chose my Poppy girl, I wanted a seal point siamese with the deepest, bluest eyes and she also came with the sweetest nature but I could not resist her playful little stripey sister Zoe - my little gymnast girl - so I took them both home when the time was right.

When it came to finding a queen, I had to do more homework and ask more probing questions as well as take into account the kitten's looks and health.

Suki melted my heart in the end and she joined the family at home a few years later. Once again, it was her beautiful eyes ...

Re: What made you choose?

i wanted a cat for ages but husband has never been keen on them. His brother got a kitten at xmas and we went round to visit and husband realised how lovely cats are and said I could have one but I had to do a lot of research fisrst and fine one he would be less likely to be allergic to. After a lot of research and falling in love with birmans, ragdolls and british blues; husband said that birmans and ragdolls were too girly and hairy (sorry everyone, i still love them) and the only cat he would allow me to have was a british blue so we got winston. We chose him as he was the chunkiest out of his brothers and the most confident.

..and then Lola a few months later to keep Winston company. Despite them being 'my' cats he spoils them more than me and loves them to death.

I'm still hoping one day to get a ragdoll or birman

Re: What made you choose?

Well my dad had a cat who had three kittens. One grey male, and two grey and white males.

I wanted the grey one and one of the grey and white ones but the grey one was run over before we got him so we took the other two greys who have been the most beautiful cats ever. One of them is now dead .

My girls were a litter of my friends. We were going to take one, the black one but then decided not to separate them and took both. Sydney was because he had a kinky tale and was reduced in price by the breeder and now he is my little prince.

Re: What made you choose?

I visited our local RSPCA with my Brownies and as they had cat flu going round one of the wings at the time we could only go in small groups. I went with the first group, & Patch looked at me and I knew. I insisted on taking all the other groups in and went to see him each time (couldn't see his sister then) - his face and his story (elderly owner had died) really got to me. Dragged my OH down on the Saturday (two days later) & we both fell in love with the two of them - next day they were in their new home.

I daren't go back just in case it happens again.
