Kittens

Hi, i was wondering if anyone could help me out on this subject....
I have a gorgeous lil male ginger kitten, who is 10 weeks old. I want to get him a friend and i have found a gorgeous lil tortie girl who will be ready to come to me in 2 weeks when she is 7 weeks old.
Is it better to get 2 kittens and allow them to grow up together? Is it better to get them while there both young? So many questions!!!!!!
Any answers to any other questions reference to kittens or personal experiences will be much appreciated.
Thank you so much
xx

Don't forget to neuter one of them asap otherwise they will REALLY like each other.

Well at 10 weeks old and 7 weeks old there isnt a rush yet....

I would get your boy neutered around 6mo or sooner if he starts to spray though.

Its a good point - dont forget to neuter them!

Re: Kittens

Thankyou all sooooo much for all your quick reply's.
I had already decided to get him "snipped" at about 6 months. lol.
How should i introduce them? Should it be quickly slowly or what?
It's just that my Pumpkin has near enough a complete run of the house when were in and a few restrictions when were out.
What do you think would be best???

Re: Kittens

As they are both kittens i would just pop them together and just intervene if any fights get out of hand. You could try some feliway, tasty chicken to eat together and perhaps some catnip spray too. Baby cats usually settle down with each other much much quicker than adults

Re: Kittens

I doubt very much if there will be anything more than token growling, they will both be delighted to have another kitten to play with.
