Re: biting
Hiya its just playing.
what I did was cry out & walk away stopping the games, he got it after about 10 times 'dont bite mummy!' He still bites my partner who cant even feel it! (builders hands!) But if my hand gets in the way he will stop & lick me! Very clever! ![]()

Re: biting
he sometimes does the licking thing he goes to bite then realises and licks. i made the mistake of reacting the other day he got a shock and i ended up with a huge gash in my arm where he jumped and ran lol.
just an interesting think i wanted to discuss thanx all for replies |

Re: biting
Hi! I think cats bite in play, but we need to let them know what is and what is not acceptable.
When I bought my siamese cats the breeder told me to gently flick their noses when they bit to discourage them - she pointed out it was only the same as the mum would do with her paw to stop them getting too rough and hurting her. I have to say it worked a treat - my cats grew up super-gentle, and I never felt as if I was being rough or 'cruel' to them.
