1. I have five cats and I am the only breadwinner in the house - if I can afford it whilst paying mortgage and exhobitant railfares then anyone can
2. He needs another cat - you have your two and he needs to have three to prove that he is the bigger stronger person (as if just humour him)
3. Am sure that I am not the only single person with mortgage and hefty train fares who has more than four cats there are many others
4. You have four limbs and one head - that means you have a cat for each limb but non to sit on your pillow near your head - one more is obviously required
5. Five is a lucky number

there's bound to be more .... better ones too ....

just found this , after fluffypurrs had a go at me about having 9 cats , i call this double standards

I've got 16 and two kits We are currently going for a new world record of the most cats on a three seater settee along with their human. My record is currently 9 plus myself. Has anyone beat that yet, lol ?

I am debating another 1 at least just not sure what breed.I have 2 persians & 2 moggies. Fancy a maine coon or a burman next i think

I love my persians i have but they are alot of work dont know about yours but mine are white and need bathing 1 a week. The grooming is fine do that every day and they go into vets every 3 months to be groomed as well costs me a fortune. Would have another 1 but fancied something a bit different. The kitten you have at min is so cute though seen her pics. Reminded me of my gran when i read its name she was called betty as well
