Missing Cat

Right hello people.

I have a bit off a dilemma right now.....

My house cat "POPPY" has decided she would go for a wonder around the big area off Boscombe, Bournemouth.

She has never been out off the flat since i moved here over a year ago and im now starting to get very worried as to her where about's??

She is a very friendly and well mannered cat, she has also been neutered and micro-chipped and may be in a garden shed or garage.. i would implore people in the local area to please take a look around and see if they could see her any where??

i have included an image so u know what to look out for....

Any information right now would settle and ease my state off mind.

Thanxs very much for your time in reading this post.

Re: Missing Cat

Aw, I hope you find her. Have you advertised her on websites especially for missing cats, to be on the safe side. I am sure she hasn't gone far though

Keep us updated

Re: Missing Cat

Phone your local cats protection ask if they have had her reported, and leave your details so they can phone you if they do. Also phone as many local vets as you can, people often report found cats to the vets.

Start putting posters up imediatly, and get walking around the area calling her name, she could well be hiding under a bush not sure how to get home.

What a beautiful girl, i really hope Poppy comes home soon and is alright. Can you walk in one direction at a time from your home and call out for her and hope that she will pick up your scent and follow it home. Keep doing this each day to renew the scent. Have my fingers crossed for you and Poppy to be reunited very soon.

Re: Missing Cat

Thanks for your lovely comments, Poppy is very dear to me and has such a loving nature... my real very real fear is that this will be my undoing... that someone has taken her in and is now giving her a lovely life, selfish of me, maybe, but I love her like she is my child. I have done massive area searches calling her name and with her favorite biscuits, and have put up and posted 130 posters in and around my local area, contacted the Cat Protection and a couple of local vets, I've also contacted Verbac (she's micro-chipped) and she is now registered as missing... I will keep trying local vets, rescue centres and anyone that'll listen til she is found... I just hope she is safe, warm and has a full belly!

Any advice is welcome and very much appreciated! Thanks again!

Re: Missing Cat

I do hope your lovely Poppy comes home soon. I can't think of anything more you can do to find her excpet perhaps an ad. in the Bournemouth Echo or the free paper (do you have Christchurch Advertiser in your area?) I don't think they charge for 'lost' adverts. Thinking of you xx
