Re: water fountains

I brought one for my dogs a few years back DK - but they would not use it and I gave it to a woman with cats - and they love it. I cannot remember the make, but I do not recall it being noisy, it was like am opaque plastic with red fittings, I'll have a scout round on the net tomorrow and see if I can find it! it was not expensive - around £15 if I remember right

The one I had were not the open type DK - the water sort of flowed over the orb into a channel - and my dogs noses are to big to fit in there! that was maybe why they did not like it!

Re: water fountains

Hi DKDream,

I bought a PetMate water fountain for my Tonkinese - they like it (one likes to drink from the flowing water, the other from the bowl). It's really quiet, but you do have to change the filter every 2 months to keep it that way. Having said that, the filters are relatively cheap from memory.

Good luck.

Re: water fountains

Found it on Amazon - although mine is a black one...

PetMate Fresh Flow Pet Water Fountain: Amazon.co.uk: Garden & Outdoors

filters are 4.99 for 2.

Re: water fountains

I bought a water fountain for my cat Katy......she looked at it, sniffed it, then walked very 'straight backed' into the kitchen to drink out of the sink!! I feel she was trying to tell me something!!! Now I have a water fountain decorating the worktop in the kitchen. So the battle of wills goes on.
