Re: Covered litter trays?

I have a rolling one I paid about £25 for. All I do is roll it slowly so that it catches all the unused litter under a grid & the muck can't pass through the grid so you roll it more, it flips on the lid & falls into a tray to pull out & shove in a bag. Don't have to touch a thing & very easy to use but is quite large.

Doesn't work with wood pellets, though.

Re: Covered litter trays?

Well that's one item I can add to the list for when our new kitten Charlie comes home in a few weeks.

We have a standard unhooded littler tray up strairs in the bathroom that Thomas uses in an emergency. But we thought it would be a good idea to have a littler tray down stairs for Charlie. But it would have to be in the kitchen and I wasn't loving the idea of our three year old daughter playing in the new 'sand pit.'

I think this tray has answered all our prayers! lol

Re: Covered litter trays?

I have one of these too (the argos one), I like it because the 'door' isn't too high up like I've seen on some of them. I haven't put the flap on though, cat refuses to go through the flap at the moment! It still contains the smells quite well though.

I have this one too, and have to remove the door lol Timmy just sits next to it looking at it if the door's on as if he's waiting for someone to open it for him lol The only time I put the door on is when I'm taking him to my mum and dad's so I don't get a car full of litter lol

Re: Covered litter trays?

I have the Argos one and they are fine using the flap, has a nice bit on top for holding the shoval. Anyone know where to get replacement filters from that fit though?

Re: Covered litter trays?

I have the pets at home one and its great, also I've found the door has been good for eventually using the cat flap as Jasper isn't fazed and never has been about using the cat flap. He had a hooded one from about 16 weeks and never had a problem, I just left the door off for a while. Good luck!! x
