I have not once defended "sex offenders" Audrey. You asked what people thought and I pointed that as we don't actually know what has happened I didn't feel able to comment on it.

I know just how easy it is to make something sound worse than it is - it is a well known tactic of litigation lawyers as is sensationalising and using snappy strap lines. I also know that something can be made to sound less severe than it is by using clever language.

Because I don't know the truth behind this situation on which you are commenting then I hesitate to voice an opinion on a public internet forum where jumping to the wrong conclusion could potentially end up as libel.

and who are you to say thats not possible!!! Seeing as NO ONE on here passing judgement knows the full details of the case or the decisions made, then they have no business criticising the individuals that obviously do.

Its just another form of a witch hunt, the cat fancy is so great at. If it put as much effort into ethical breeding and stamping out life threatening hereditary/genetic diseases, gross inbreeding and cat neglect and cruelty as it does into condemning its own for one reason or another then the future of everyones chosen breed would be assured.

Kim the facts are he got 4 years, he was found guilty, he's on the sex offenders list, it's not a witch hunt, it's fact, what ever the motives are for people to invite him onto a committee I have no idea, but I found it very shocking, shows are held at a lot of leisure centres.
