Do we even know what he did? People get on the register for really stupid things along with serious crimes. I wouldn't be so quick to judge.

i fail to see what would be classed as a stupid thing, being a registered sex offender is enough for me.

How about the case where a man had "sex" with a bike in the privacy of a hotel room that was walked in on by a maid? That is pretty stupid & he is now classed as bad as a paedo.

You don't get 4 years for nothing, and it was in the papers, it wasn't something silly, we're talking sex abuse.

If it was in the papers then it must be true!

As my example above shows, I wouldn't assume all sex offenders were paedos or rapists. Plus it is entirely possible to rehabilitate some offenders of any kind.

You asked what people thought & this is my opinion. He couldn't be under closer observation at the moment short of being in prison & you say he has already done that.... The professionals don't consider him a threat to society so why should us plebs?

Well if they didn't think him a threat, why put him on the register ??
