Re: Siamese and oriental

I have to agree with these comments. I have 2 siamese boys who have just turned 1, and a siamese girl who I rescued a few months ago who is nearly 4. My boys talk constantly and are only happy if they are stealing things around the house, cuddling me and my husband, or driving us crazy with their constant talking.
I bought the 2 boys for my husband's 30th last year as he has always wanted one, and we too thought it was kinder to get 2. They are hard work but we love them to pieces. They are the most affectionate cats we have ever owned. We will always own siamese now, but they are not for the faint hearted. You have to be a full time pet owner... which sounds a strange thing to say... but i have friends who say "cats look after themselves". This is rubbish!!

Re: Siamese and oriental

bengals crossed with orientals are called serengetis and are lush and are now a recognised breed but breed with siamese cant be registered they are practically the same although some of the litter may have points . the ones which come out with bengal markings look absolutly amazing with spotty coats and the sleek oriental /siamese body and features devon rexs is also a nice cross with siamese you get si rexes which can be registered
