Question Colour Point Persian Advise please

I have an Exotic short haired what i think is a colour point
but not sure. I would like some advise please on what type of colour point Smudge is and what it actually means. Most photo's don't realy show his colour properly. But he also has blue eye's if that helps.

Oh and is it possible to get a short haired colour point and cream/white
long haired Persian from the same litter??

Hard to tell from those photos - almost looks like a blue smoke.

You can get shorthaired and longhaired kittens from the same litter - they are Exotics and Exotic variants. Exotic variants cannot be shown with GCCF but can be shown at TICA as Persians

Re: Colour Point Persian Advise please

I thought the point about colour poojnt was that the colour is ONLY on the points - legs, tail, face ears - no-where else - therefore I would assume that he isn't a clour point but is something else.

You can get very heavily shaded CP cats which don't look CP - Seal Point siamese can often end up that way but that's normally as they get older and into their middle years .......

What I am finding odd is the blue eyes? what colour are the parents and what colour is he registered as? have you asked his breeder?

I would say he's a very heavily shaded Blue CP - but it would be useful to know the parents' colours.

Re: Colour Point Persian Advise please

I don't have his papers yet, the lady i got him off forgot to
give them to me so i'm waiting for her to post them.
I did not pay for these cats so i'm not that anxious to get the papers.
But i too would love to know his exact breed. A few people on a group i'm
with also think he is an Exotic short haired Blue colour point.
But just to confuse you a little more i am adding a few pics of Smudges brother Dylan. Who i think is a White Cream tipped long haired Persian
or it has been suggested he may be a Cream Cameo long haired Persian.
I'm well confused lol
