Oh dear...and a little ha ha

I am preparing for Kitty arriving in a few weeks, and thought I would put his things around where they are going to go so that Alfie dog gets used to them.

Put my scratch activity thingy in situ and fully expected him to wee on it, but he hasn't, so far so good. I put the litter tray down with litter in it to let him smell it and so I could tell him "no" so he doesn't think it's food. He didn't try to eat it, brilliant.

Except I came down this morning and he had used it!! He NEVER wees in the house, EVER. But he decided to wee in the litter tray last night.

So.....quite amusing. But he won't keep doing this will he?!

lol he might!

When i have my mams dogs for holidays etc, one of her old chihuahuas uses my cats litter tray for his entire stay! He's 13 and fully housetrained, and until 6years ago had never met a cat let alone a litter tray!

when he goes home, he returns to doing his business outside, but with the tray here, he likes to "join in".

My own dog billy though wont go near the tray

Ooof! Well once kitten is used to it and knows where it is I will be putting the hood on it, so Alfie won't fit in it then

From what I hear, its not the litter they view as lunch, its the cat deposits in it
