This is so sad, but she has had a good life and i am sure you are going to give her a great more few weeks.

16 is a great age for a cat to live.

I am not often as easily moved to tears but I really feel for you at this awful time.

Hope the last times you have with him are special and reward your kind decision to not put him through the surgery.

So sorry to hear about Sam but I agree that it would not be fair to put such an old puss through invasive surgery just to prolong his life by a little while. It should be about quality of life and I know you will give him plenty of that for the time he has left. Thinking of you.
