Take him to the PDSA or give them a call first and explain the situation. Its important to get him there asap.

Do you have any friends or family that drive? Romford isnt that far from Dagenham.

Keep us posted.

Just to add not sure about taking cats on buses but if you can get a train to Upminster then change over it will take you into Romford train station and the PDSA isnt far from there (unless they have moved now, I havent been there for years)

Re: dont know if this cat is a stray cat or house cat

When Beastie comes back, see if you can coax her into your house, that way you can get the cat box and take her to the PDSA.

Well done for helping her.

Re: dont know if this cat is a stray cat or house cat

Definitely looks like very matted fur tags and also some sort of skin condition causing loss of fur. It's good that you have got some food for Beastie and she/he seems to trust you to let you get close enough to take the photos. Looking at the state of her I'd say she is very neglected and needs to see a vet as soon possible in case there are problems that you cannot see.
Wishing you the very best of luck. Oh and just to add - I have taken cats on a bus before. O.k so long as they are in a secure carrier.

Aw hes beautiful, just very matted - he doesnt look like hes been cared for at all. Well done for looking after him, hope you manage to trap him and take him to the pdsa!
