Murphy had the snip last week as i noticed a funny smell in my house.
Yes the dreaded tom cat spray....
Well now is calling more than ever a real high pitched screaming sound.
I am hoping this will settle down once his hormone balance is better

I asked about my girl who was still calling after her spaying & they said it does take a while, she stopped after a few days though :0

It can take upto 6 month from the date of his operation. his brain hasnt registerd his bits are gone lol the hormones are still high

He is a house cat and does not go outside.
Well he has a long run in the garden from my house so he does go out for fresh air.

all you can do is keep him in a room whats easy to disinfect and wait till it stops it should do how old is he.

He is just over a year old.
He is a very small cat almost kitten size.
Was told when he was a kitten he had a heart murmur.
After his op i have got told he has an irregular heartbeat.

has the spraying just started? or has he been doing it for a while do you have anyother male cats that arnt neuterd??? as he maybe marking as he feels threatend, but now hes done it should stop one of mine sprayed and he was really bad and when he was done with in 4 month he stoped.

I have 7 cats in total all have been done.
He has only started spraying in the last couple of months.

im sure it will stop soon once his hormoans settle down

sage sticks are good for getting rid of the smell in the meantime
