Question bracken, whats wrong with him ?

hes spending more time sleeping, less time eating, he isnt as hungry as he was, he doesnt want to play for as long as usual, i think his tummy is better now though

he sometimes still has his mad half hour running around in the evening, hunting time and he doesnt wake up too early and demand food at three in the morning anymore, i feed him about five or sixish when i get up for work but he doesnt eat it all

is this due to his neuturation a couple of weeks ago ?

Re: bracken, whats wrong with him ?

my boys both occasionally have a few days they are just exhausted... normally after a growth spurt, could also just be beginning to lose his frantic kitten hyperactiveness

I wouldn't worry unless he has a temperature.

Mine in the last month have gone from 6 pouches a day plus biscuits to 2pouches a day max between them. Because both are behaving equally as lazy I don't worry too much. Mine are about 8 months boys if that helps. In the last few days their appeitites have picked up to the point where I hope 3 pouches will be eaten a day as opposed to mostly left.

Tinks like that she will meow for food have a few mouthfulld and walk of and come back to it later.

She is also sleeping more but she is a baby and growing.

I weigh her daily as long as she is putting eight on and not losing it I would be inclined to say he is geowing.

Re: bracken, whats wrong with him ?

My Alfie used to eat everything in sight - he is now 3 years old and is far more picky. I wondered, as he goes out, whether he was getting treats from one of the neighbours (he also likes eating mice).

He is in fine shape and I think he has grown up, knows he will always find something to eat at home and is therefore not in any hurry.

Re: bracken, whats wrong with him ?

aaw I am glad he seems on the up. Waffles goes through stages of eating loads and loads and then not so much and she also goes through stages of sleeping a LOT and then sometimes I cannot get a moments rest.

I think Bracken is just growin up
