I'm very excited as we have just spoken with the OH's sister who is moving house in a few weeks and doesn't feel that they have the time to properly devote to their cat Bella now that they have a son. She didn't know of anyone else who would want a cat so she was thinking of having to give it back to the RSPCA which she wasn't keen on but saw no other option. Then she suggested that we could have her and i got so excited; we have been discussing the possibility of getting some company for Tilly for awhile now. Bella is a tabby like Tilly and is 18 months, so about 10 months older than her; apparently she is very friendly and affectionate and gets on well with other cats. It all seems so perfect! Obviously, we need to properly think through the impact another cat would have, financially and in regards to space in the house; plus, we are due to move house at the end of October and feel a little mean up-rooting. I'd love a friend for Tilly though and would hate to see this lovely girl go back to the rescue centre - we are going to go and have a look at her sometime next week and i'm sure we won't be able to resist!
