kittens 1st jabs

i was wondering, how old a kitten has to be for there first jabs in order for them to go into a cattery?

they should have jabs at 9 weeks and 12 weeks, then a booster every year.

thanks blue chip... also does anyone advise on a better gender for a friend for my male tabby? girl or boy? i can't decide and i have asked friends advise but they seem to confuse me...

Normally male female combo is good but it depends on indiviaul cats and there ages and if there neutered etc. You usually find there is a pecking order. To be honest it can be trail and error as i had two males but one was a year when i introduced my other male at a kitten and my older cat was alreadt neutered they were fine toether.

well casper is 7 months and i was looking to introduce him to a female kitten, i am going to have a look at her tonight... any advise?
