YESSS!!! Finally got my way!

Its now the time for my little Lexi cat to go out into the big wide world that is our neighbourhood!

We were originally going to have her cat flap flap going into the shed but finally my other half agrees that it would be better for her to have access to the house so he has now agreed that we can have a cat flap in the glass door in the kitchen!

We're getting one of those microchip ones but at the minute they are out of stock of the glass conector thing (not very technical, I know) but I am so chuffed!!! She's just got to wait a little bit longer and then she'll be free to come and go as she pleases!

Does anyone know if you can lock the microchip cat flaps at night time?

Yes. They have an electronic lock button.... Well, the one I've seen did.

The best microchip cat flap is the Pet Porte. It only has two downsides 1) The Price and 2) Has to be near an electrical socket (although you can buy extension lead).

Pet porte has this thing called Night Mode, when the cat enters say like 6-7pm it auto locks so it can't go back out.
