Jenson is loving being outdoors

I have been undecided for sometime if I should let him out as I live in small 1-bedroom flat and he's getting bored and I think all the biting which I have been posting about is due to frustration and boredom, so I decided it's only fair on him that he spends some time outside.
There are nice communal gardens and no roads near me. He's now been going out for about 2 weeks on and off, I always went with him to see how he reacted for about 45 mins at a time and he's been getting very streetwise and runs off as soon as anyone comes near unless I know them and then he comes over. The neighbours are all very nice and he's been getting to know them, so I know they will keep an eye on him too.

Today he went out on his own, I left the communal door open with a sign on it asking the residents to leave it open and I have a cat flap in my front door. I went outside every now and again to check on him and he was out for about 2 hours and loved it, I was watching him out the window and he was climping all the tree's and chasing bees, it was lovely to see and he kept popping in now and then and then went out again. Now he's come back in 2 hours later and has stayed in without being prompted.

I'm very pleased with how well its turned out I think this will help with the biting problem and calm him down a bit.

Just wanted to share this with everyone

That's lovley news. I hope Jenson enjoys his freedom and doesn't decide to bring you any unwelcome pressies (mice etc )
