Derma pet wear....cat jacket!

Hi all, i am having my kitten spayed soon and all my other pets had the Elizabethan collars on after the operation. They all hated them, as you might have guessed!!!
I saw this in Your Cat magazine and i seems like a very good idea. Cats can run, climb, use the litter tray, and eat and drink normally.
It can bve used after operations, for skin conditions or even to stop an over zealous of kittens!!!
It is made from anti-bacterial material and aids the healing process.

I am planning on getting on for my kitten for when she is spayed.

There is also a dog one.

Whats everyone else's opinion on it???! Check the link out below.

Re: Derma pet wear....cat jacket!

I've heard of these before and all i can say is that someone must be making a fortune!
I never put any sort of collar on my cats/kittens after neutering and haven't had any problems...... goodness knows how many I've had neutered over the years but it must be well over 50.....

Re: Derma pet wear....cat jacket!

I just think my kitten would be happier wearing that than the big collar!!

I might get a couple to keep in, just incase of any operations or skin problems in the future (god forbid).

And for the dog when he gets neutered!

Well that's your opinion ! my girls hated their Elizabethan collars, so i took them off after 3 days and they kept licking their stitches, so they had to have them back on till healed! i think these are a great idea

Really? I thought they had to!! Go to show how much i know

I do think these would be better, especially for animals that do lick their wounds continually. Like my lot did!!!
