Re: What's the right reasons for bringing home a rescue cat?
Thanks everyone nice to know.
I have been out all day and the dogs have been down the castle with gran. So I left open the door to the ground floor so the pusscats can wander round and get the sent of the dogs and dogs the cats!
So I get home tonight and hear the thunder of little paws up the stairs so figured they had retreated up stairs. So I put the dogs dinners on the side and eat mine, the dogs sitting in the kitchen looking at their food, or so I thought! Turned out to be Dexter on top of the kitchen cupboard looking down at the dogs looking up at them! (Photos to be seen on my page!)
Then and still now I have two very confused dogs and a slighty bemused cat who can't quite work out what is going on and why these silly creatures are barking at a DEAF cat? The dogs have been barking and growling at the cat who is quietly sat down watching the dogs jump 3 foot in the air when her hisses at them if they get to close! So we are looking at an hour and a half of the cat wandering about and being watched and the dogs bouncing about! No nastiness, no claws or bites so pretty pleased really, just want the dogs to chill out! All I can say if thank god the cats deaf, but I am guessing that their energy is very visible to Dexter! Not sure Rocky is going to be as relaxed he has been sat on the stairs taking it all in!
