Unhappy whats wrong with bracken ?

he was wormed three weeks ago, he hasnt been outside and according to the vet hes just 'gassy' ?

hes not responding to different kitten food which was recommended and is still making runny poo, why isnt he getting better, what am i doing wrong, please help ?

hes put on a little bit of weight but he is skinny and this will seriously hamper his development

Re: whats wrong with bracken ?

Try him on something like boiled/ cooked chicken until his poos firm up. Something really bland with no additives. I did this with Prestoo when he was wee and had a bad bum. It took a little while (2 days) but he got better. After that add a good high meat content food and not dry - if he's got the runs he will be getting dehydrated and dry food won't help that at all. Make sure he's drinking too. If you get really worried take him back to the vets.

EDIT : Presto was the runt of the litter and so so wee. He had a bad dose of the runs on and off for a few weeks and we always thought he would be tiny - he's HUGE now. So don't worry about it stunting his growth I doubt it will.

Re: whats wrong with bracken ?

regular chicken breast and cook it just like you would cook it for yourself though no seasoning like salt or anything, then chop (or shred) into teeny little pieces for easy chewing.
A small amount of kitten milk can help firm things up too and covers a lot of nutrients and vitamins... maybe 40-60ml

Our two love grilled chicken breast. They love the burnt bits if I do it for them
