absalutely gutted

Well thats it..4 cats in the space of a year taken!!

In the past year since i moved here my cats have been dwindling away from 5 when i moved in which i have had for 5 years with no problems, i move here and the neighbours have been feeding them so both my toms have been taken with them when they moved away i know this as they have not moved far and with one he came back a month or so later and they had shaved him so we did not recognise him(long story).

Now a month ago nearly to the day one of our white queens went out and did not come back the next morning so i said enough is enough my cats are no longer going out and ive never let them out since.

Now yesterday the other white queen was going mad all day making lots of noise. My OH kept saying shes going out n i sed dont let her out she staying in....so when he came back from work he decided he wasnt going to wake me or the baby and sleep downstairs...the cats get put in the kitchen.

Because The white queenwas scratching at the door and making a noise he let her out....and low and behold she did not come back this morning....i know theres something wrong....2 white queens out in one month and not coming back next morning???

Theres loads of cats round where we live and there always the same faces....so why our cats???

Theres no way both have gone out and had an accident.....they all used to go out every night and come back the next morning...what is going wrong and is there anything the police can do???

before peeps say i shouldnt let her out, i know which is why i had vowed to keep them in

Re: absalutely gutted

I dont think so.....i know the woman at the bottom of the road said she used to have lots of cats but a few went missing years ago, and that she had not seen cats round here for years but when we moved in there was a few on our street and a few on the street next to ours.

I notice the same faces all the time and dont normally see any posters up with them missing.

I knew the first 2 was because they had been going to another house for months and then finally they moved and taken them. But with the white queen who went she was in our house all the time and only went out at night so she wasnt going anywhere.....and now for it to happen without warning again i know something is wrong.

Im gutted i just dont know what to do......one by one my babies are being taken....this one im well pissed about cos i sed none of them are going out again and i was in bed

Re: absalutely gutted

No she wasnt spayed which is another reason i didnt want her out, ive always kept her in when shes been in heat....thats what all the noise was about so she was more then likely in heat....so if she comes back im sure in 9 weeks we will hear the pitter patter of tiny feet

Re: absalutely gutted

Mind you when shes in heat theres normally thw local tom sat at our door and he can always smell her a few days before.....hes not been here so either hes been elsewhere, shes not in heat ....or hes been cat napped too...mind you if they did take him they would sharp bring him back...he sprays everything he sees...and i mean everything...he even sprayed my neighbours leg whilst she was talking to me

Re: absalutely gutted

Sorry to hear your rotten news..hope you get some answers..

This kinda happend to me a few years ago my cat kept going away for days apon days..drove me crazy out everyday shaking the biscut tin... shouting, Even Meowing.. nope i thought i lost them mother and Daughter..

then a found out that there was an old woman in the next street was taken every tom, cheeky, harry in.. even my cats!.. i wonderd how there colours kept going missing the old lady was taken the new collors of my cats to give to the other cats......

I would make posters up put them through doors , and ask anyone...Did she have a collar or anything on??

Oh the old lady still has one of my cats her new name is Bell...
