I agree with you. Prehaps you will think of neutering any more cats at around 6 months as is the norm.

Sometimes they come back after a while.
I thought I had bad luck with cats.
I'm intrigued about your cat being shaved?

In the past year since i moved here my cats have been dwindling away from 5 when i moved in which i have had for 5 years with no problems, i move here and the neighbours have been feeding them so both my toms have been taken with them when they moved away i know this as they have not moved far and with one he came back a month or so later and they had shaved him so we did not recognise him(long story).

Now a month ago nearly to the day one of our white queens went out and did not come back the next morning so i said enough is enough my cats are no longer going out and ive never let them out since.

Now yesterday the other white queen was going mad all day making lots of noise. My OH kept saying shes going out n i sed dont let her out she staying in....so when he came back from work he decided he wasnt going to wake me or the baby and sleep downstairs...the cats get put in the kitchen.

Because The white queenwas scratching at the door and making a noise he let her out....and low and behold she did not come back this morning....i know theres something wrong....2 white queens out in one month and not coming back next morning???

Theres loads of cats round where we live and there always the same faces....so why our cats???

Theres no way both have gone out and had an accident.....they all used to go out every night and come back the next morning...what is going wrong and is there anything the police can do???

before peeps say i shouldnt let her out, i know which is why i had vowed to keep them in

I hope she comes back for you, its so sad you have had this happen again. Im sorry but I would be blazing if my OH let one of mine out after me specifically trying to keep them in.

I don't think anyone will have a go at you, afterall its not your fault is it?

Izzie

Re: absalutely gutted

My you people love at good rant and to tell people what they should do.

All of my cats have been neutered and spayed apart from this one queen and another kitten i have....none of you know my reasons but love to have a good rant about whats ''right''

She is kept as an indoor cat and no accidents have happened up to scratch apart from my OH putting her out the other night in a fit of anger.

I am not getting her spayed until we move house regardless of what reasons you all make...im not stupid i know the reasons for and against spaying.

My house is all open plan and i have young children, and also a young cat around 5 months who loves nothing more then to chase her around and bite at her, i have other cats too....i have had cats spayed before and know they just want to relax......so tell me where is my cat going to relax???.....theres no rooms barring the bathroom or my sons bedroom which are shut off....my tom is neutered and had she been a tom i would have had her done but not with the stitches in this house.

I am moving house this summer and will be getting her spayed then

Imagine if i do as you all say get her spayed and then in a weeks time she has her stitches pulled out and ends up in the vets again....i imagine you would then say how irresponsible i am again saying i shouldnt have subjected her to it.

she is back by the way for those of you who care

Sorry if that offends you, but I suspect - and hope - others will agree.
Would you please elaborate what i have done that is irresponsible???

Let my cats out??....ive always let me cats out like many millions of other people all over the world

Not had her spayed??.....read my above post.

So i guess you are perfect then??.....i suppose your cats are fed on a high quality diet and not just whiskers, felix or any other shoddy brand out there

Oh and i guess you flea yours every month like they should be ( providing they are outdoor cats)

Yep and i suppose you worm yours on a regular basis too??

You ahve not got a clue about my circumstances and is indicated by your post you are just saying what you think other forum members want to hear
