God thats awful,
I'm sure there isnt much trade for fully grown pedigrees?
I see a few on websites but they seem to be around for ages, I thought most who go ped buy from kittens.... unless they intend to show the cats to make money, which would be very stupid indeed!
also surley to get a good price they would need to have papers which they obviously dont.

I agree - I would have thought there were plenty of easier things to steal! It could be stealing for some other reason of course - malicious neighbour stealing cats to dump them miles away, animal rights type person who doesn't like seeing cats in pens, or of course something a lot worse

you are so wrong they will make money from breeding them regardless of papers,not showing,that costs money!! i would be very suspicious of everyone wo had been to my cattery to view kittens,someone knew the layout,and knew she was out!and where they were.

exactly, I think it will be hard work making a good enough profit from this for all the hassle. It's not like stealing a lot of tv's the cats will need looking after not to mention being stored somewhere no one will notice noise ect. It's such a large number to steal aswell.
I know some people are against pure breeding, or animals being used to make profit in any way. I just hope they have enough sense to look after the cats properly

i agree been talking about this with other breeders and they could make lots of money through breeding them, lets face it you see pedigree for sale with no papers, and i am sure the people that took the cats are not bothered about injections and so on.
