Just me being a worry wort?

So Jasper went in Friday for his op and when he got home was fine, running around and ate loads and he was like this Sat too. But since yesterday he's been sleeping a lot, most of yesterday (he was tearing around all morning) and the same today, had made hour or so then has just been taking it easy. He's eating fine and that, just seems a little off colour. Do you think its just caught up with him? I know he's had a general anaesthetic so will take a while to get over. I worry so much after he was so poorly a few days after I got him.

Thanks

Rach x

Yeah, it's just the GA wearing off. Hell be fine! Even though his Mojo is missing

Re: Just me being a worry wort?

How old is your little one? When Waffles had her op she was different for the first two weeks. She was VERY aloof and if we went into one room she would go into another. She even resorted to sleeping in the kitchen in the evenings when normally she would curl up on the back of the sofa and attack our heads

Your poor kitty will get used to it eventually and after a lot of grovelling he will come round

Re: Just me being a worry wort?

He'll be 6 months on the 16th. He's a bit the same, he's lying down a lot, not really sleeping just looks like he's chilling out!! Normally he's running round like a mad thing!! Think he prob feels a bit out of sorts and like somethings missing!! He still comes running in if I go in the kitchen tho to check he's not missing anything and won't leave again until I do!! Thanks Witty its good to know that it's just mine who seems a little funny after the op.

Re: Just me being a worry wort?

poor Jasper - he's probably still got all sorts of hormones running round too even though the vital parts are still missing. He'll be fine pretty soon going on past experience with mine.

Hi Rach,

I would keep an eye on him, when Ella and Effie were done we were warned this might happen. That they may be very active straight after the op and then may appear off colour for a couple of days after.

Keep your eye on you lovely chap and if you are worried, take him back to the vets
