When we got Tilly she was 6 months old and she showed no interest in any catnip products we bought her; now she’s 10 months and she goes mad for the catnip spray we have. She rolls around in it for ages and even a few days after we have sprayed it she can be seen nuzzling the area – she knows what the bottle looks like now too and when she sees it come out she starts meowing! Catnip toys have so far been a different story though, she shows no more interest in them than her other toys.

To be honest silver foil is the thing that sends them mad!

Four of mine are into the Yeoww Catnip bananas, cigars etc bigtime but if you have a cat that isn't into the catnip you could try the honeysuckle spray or honeysuckle knotties etc as an alternative.

Wiccan loves it he goes crazy 4 it but hocus isnt overly fussed she does liket cat nip drops but then she eats eveything

All three of mine go absolutely bonkers for catnip, but not so much catnip toys - I guess they just like the pure hard stuff lol

The best catnip toy that my own cats have played with are the Cosmic Catnip Banana and the cigar. They are crammed with 100% catnip and my cats went bonkers when they were given these. If you are unsure as to whether your cats like catnip, these toys will prove it one way or the other.

Mazie loves it, she rolls in it, eats it, sniffs it and can't seem to get enough. Mickey does like it but doesn't seem to go as mad as Mazie.

I was told that it attracts male more than female but I guess this is not the case!
